What would be a reasonable price in today's market for a left over LS2 crate engine? Just the engine alone..No wiring harness or pulley system..What would be a reasonable asking price..Looking to buy one..Would 5k be to much?? I am think its a little high..Thanks

Yes IMO that is way to much. You can get a motor built to the way you want it for that price.

Like brand new? or a pullout? Im sure that isnt too high if its a brand new crate engine. If its a used pullout thats pretty damn high.

Brand new..I am thinking 4k cash would be my limit on this engine.

Looks like brand new crate is almost 5k

I dont know anything about where you are getting it but obviously less then that price above since it has no accessories. Engine harness is irrelevant.

I just bought an LS2 long block with 15k miles on it for $2,400. It was a good deal IMO.

It was on here for sale, I bought it like that day. I actually go pick it up this weekend, he happened to live not too far from me. I am going to start a thread soon on the build, don't wanna hijack this one...

thats a good deal for that mileage, seems most are anywhere from 2-3. the heads alone are worth 500ish
