Once again another discovery of **** the dealer said they changed before i bought this car.....

The cabin filters are an item then is hardly replaced and can make a big difference in AC performance. That looks about like mine after a hunting season on my club.

I never believe dealers. My brother is a salesman and he said the same thing too.

When I picked mine up from the dealership last year it was in worse shape than that lol. I don't think too many people realize newer cars come with a cabin air filter nowadays.

lol bastards, luckily not too expensive or hard to change. Mine looked just like that when I changed it last summer, probably was the original.

I just discovered I had one, and changed it out a few weeks ago. It was freaking thrashed!

Yes. Pretty sure it's under the hood under the wiper area. There is a plastic cover that comes off or something.

Under the cowl on the passenger side, just look it up. Pretty sure it's the same as the GP.

driver & Passenger wiper arm needs to be removed push pins removed, plastic cowl comes off next take off passenger side piece covering the cabin filter and replace. should be the same for all w-bodies

I'll be checking mine tomorrow...may have something to do with why my ac smells funny when I turn it on

It is the same for all w bodys but you don't have to remove the wiped arms. Stand on the pass side of the car with the hood popped. Pull weather stripping off pass side of cowl. Pull the push pin in the left corner. Use a flathead to oxy up plastic cowl. Reach in and grab filter. Reverse to reinstall. If it takes you longer than 1 minute. Hire a trained professional to do all work on your vehicle so you dont do any further damage.

If it gets wet you may be growing mold etc.
