The 4.8L shortblock out of my 04 1500 that i pulled running to replace with an lq4. Still have the 706 heads but both are cracked exactly as the tsb described.
I would like to trade it for a set of ls1 s10 headers. Or a hummer h3 alpha oil pan. Or anything s10 ls1 related. Intake, heads, conversion radiator, ect.
The 4.8 still ran fine with good oil pressure when i removed it. But i had to change the oil every 800 miles or so because of those stupid heads.
oh, and im located in meridian ms
