LOL the neighbor in the other side of the duplex is supposed to maintain the lawn. i pay her boyfriend $25 each time he cuts it, but he's been busy and hasn't done it in awhile. he trimmed all the brush the other day and is mowing this weekend though. the nice thing is, my neighbor's lawn always looks as bad as mine, and we're surrounded by empty lots with 2 foot tall grass.
