Well at 106 you should of been in the 12s. Was you running street tires? It just saying with perfect traction this is what you should run at what mph.

I guess it's a handy tool for reference but there are too many variables for it to be totally accurate.

The table is pretty accurate or around the ballpark within 1-2 tenths...it can be cheated slightly though with an efficient trans and rear

Got to get all of that 60ft!!

It assumes 100% efficient Super-Stock chassis, which probably non of us have! Also on a NHRA prepped surface, which any of us rarely get to set foot on.

It is a nice goal to shoot for though - to get the best ET for your MPH.

I have been racing for about 25 years and I would say that table is very accurate for cars with aerodynamics through the 80s. However, late model Vettes, Camaros and such have aerodynamics and driveline efficiencies that have been producing higher MPHs. You don't see it in the 1/8th mile, but in the 1/4 it really shows up.

That does not mean that alot of you guys who are running 12 at 120 are doing it right.

I will post my results in a couple of weeks,I am getting the tranny rebuilt first.
