Default Comfort issue

I have 275/40/17 Maxxis v1 tires all around on my 98 trans am. They are on my American Racing Torque Thrust II polished wheels and suspension has been changed to bilstein struts and the car kinda rides rough....could the tire be too hard on the side walls? I am running 30 psi on all tires.

i was just talking to someone yesterday who has bilsteins and he said they have a fairly stiff ride. Depending on what shocks/struts you're coming from maybe that could be it?

When you say rough, what do you mean?
Rough and stiff can be too different things, Ive been in very stiffly sprung cars that ride well, little bit less compliance but not bad.
Ive also been in cars that have soft stock style stuff that ride "rough" but it stemmed from wore out bushings and other suspension components causing crashing and noise.

Ive always liked a bilstein car with nice springs.

Tires can play a major role in ride comfort though and are often overlooked.
