I'm originally from Michigan and performace work and good trans shops are easy to find, but I have never had to have work done since I've been out in San Diego. Now I'm having some issues with the t56 in my 04 gto.
Can anyone recommend a good transmission shop in the area? I live in Pacific Beach.

There's a place kearny mesa area, JBA. Other than tranny stuff, the guy who did my head/cam swap at a fair price and some military discounts... if you're interested...
