Paint & Body Work - remove overspray from plastic

I recently had part of my TA repainted and the bodyshop did an amazing job for the price. The only problem is there is a little bit of overspray on some of the plastic pieces in my engine bay. Is there a good product you would recomend to get paint off of plastic? Thanks guys.

Clay bar and if that doesn't work you can try some grease/wax remover cleaner.

clay bar wont help him any.. those plastic pieces are textured so there wont be any bite.. try the reducer or paint thinner...

The more aggressive the solvent, the more likely you will soften and discolor the surface of the plastic. Start with wax/grease remover, that will do the job if the overspray isn't too heavy. If you end up needing to go to lacquer thinner, you may have to dust a light coat of satin black paint on some of the parts if a chalky finish is left behind. Good luck with it!

Brake fluid will eat paint & not plastic. So will Dad's easy spray paint remover from Ace Hardware.
