Default Detail: 07 BMW

Got a call about this one not long ago and that it wasn't in great shape. After inspecting...that couldn't be more true. This one had about 15 hours in it after all compounding, polishing, waxing, and all that jazz.

Decon:
Washed with Dawn and various MF wash mitts.
Wheels & Barrels foamed/cleaned with Chemical Guys Diablo Wheel Gel and various brushes.
Wells and tires cleaned with Meguiars APC and various brushes.
Embedded contaminants removed with Speedy Prep towel and ONR as lube.
Glass cleaned with Meguiars Perfect Clarity Aerosol.

Compounding:
M101 w/ Meguiars MF cutting disk
D300 w/ Meguiars MF cutting disk

Followed up by a final wash with Optimum NO rinse and Car pro eraser.

Wax:
Waxed by hand with Wolfgang Fuzion

Driver side door before:

The hood had no clarity, deep swirls, RIDS, and medium oxidation.

This one will show you how bad it really was:

More swirls and oxidation:

Roof was showing some of the same characteristics:

After removing the license plate and cleaning it, it showed some oxidation as well:

After some compounding:

50/50 shot of the swirl removal on the hood:

Another view:

Rear driver quarter:

After:

50/50 shot on the roof:

Finally getting some clarity back on the roof:

Lower kicks:

Not one inch of the finish went un touched:

Remember the door before:

And now a few true side by side pics for comparison:

Questions/Comments always welcome.

Thanks for checking it out!
