I have a Rick's tank with built in A1000. The feed is at the top of that pump which I think is a -10. Have a -8 return fitting welded in with 2 vents

I am feeding a twin turbo, 68's, 408. 1000cc 95lb injectors. 1000 horse motor.

My plan was to run -10 all the way out the tank to the raills and then returnning with -8? Is that overkill? Should I run -12 to post filter and then -10 from there to the rail?

i have a similar setup but only expecting 850hp, im gonnna run a -8 feed, then a -10 return to aid in cooling the fuel as it returns to tank. just my opinion. i think you will be fine on a -8 feed because even most say -8 will support 1400hp. just leave yourself some room. this might save you some money too since fuel hose and an fittings are made of gold lol

-8 would be fine. What fuel pressure are you going to run? You could probably use a -6 and not have any trouble.

not sure what pressure yet as it needs to be tuned.

So to be clear, stick with -10 feed and -8 return?

if the tank is set up for -10 feed and -8 return, then use those sizes. There is nothing wrong with "overkill", and that isnt even overkill for your setup

what is the thread size on the top of thw Aeromotie A 1000? Looks bigger than -10. Or is it and I can just put a -10 90 hose barb for push lock on there?
