Default Ran into a Mach 1 and a GTO tonight

A couple of us were out looking for trouble earlier and I managed to dig up a little action.

BSing at a local hang out spot and a red Mach 1 pulls in, so I walk over to try and get a run. At first he seemed a bit hesitant, but I assured him I was just looking for a friendly race and there would be no bullshit or drama so he agreed.

His car was an automatic with exhaust and 4.10 gears. I believe he said it had a cold air intake, but I might be wrong on that. I told him he could pick the race: dig, roll, whatever and he chose a 40 roll. My friend jumped in my car and there were no passengers in the Mach 1.

The guy in the Mach 1 seemed like a nice guy and gave us the thumbs up after the race.

One of the regulars at the local hang out had followed us out (you can see him in the first race) and wanted in on the action, so I lined up with him.

His car is a 2006 GTO, M6, cold air, headers, and a tune. He had a passenger also and wanted a 30 mph roll.

We pulled back in after and chatted a bit, all agreeing that it was a good time

I was on motor for these races and my car put down 357 rwhp and 371 rwtq as it sits.

Great runs. Can't wait to hear all the BS surrounding the Mach from others lol but you pulled him pretty well.

That GTO surprised me, and sounded damn good! Gotta love the spontaneous runs.

Go figure. Why, in gods name did an Auto mach 1 want a 40 roll instead of a dig???

LMAO......these vids = end of debate. Mach 1's are nice looking cars, but man do they have some hardcore nut huggers that come with them.

On another note, would be interesting to line my brother's GTO up against Jay's and compare.

I honestly expected him to want a dig. Either way, he was a good sport and came out to give it a shot.

Conveniently, I asked Jay last night if he would be interested in lining up with your brother and he was all for it. He did concede that your brother is a better driver.

Thanks! You could be right about that, I didn't get the chance to talk to him after.

Those cars need a massive help from gears to do any damn thing. Then they fall on ther face up top. How appropriate is this race anyways
