Default will 275 40 17s fit 17-8.5 rims
Im wanting to get the zr1 replica wheels but they are 17 8.5 will my 275 tires fit?

Zr1 replicas are 17x9.5 and ive run 275 40 17 on mine for years

I found a set on OE wheels.com and they said 17 8.5 I don't know if it was a typo but I could do some more investigating.

OP 275/40R17's were a stock size offered with 17x9 factory wheels. They should work fine on 17x8.5's although some brands may be better than others (some run wide some run narrow)

I've been looking at the same wheels as the op and had the same concern. Most of the zr1 wheels are 17x9 except the c6 zr1 says its 17x8.5. Idk what the deal is, that's the only reason I haven't ordered mine yet.

FYI, a 17 x 9" is the narrowest wheel width recommended for a 275/40/17 tire.

The C6 ZR1s are 17 x8.5" and the C4 ZR1s are 17 x9.5" .
If you want a wider wheels the 18 x 9.5s front and rear would look good!

1993 and 1994 Firehawk wheels were made by ROH. They were 17x8.5 and had 275/40/17 tires on them when SLP shipped them out.
