i had 17x11 w/315s stock springs and the hose mod, these wheels have the 50mm offset so if you get them you should have no problem.

What springs do you have out back?

Personally, I'd crank them up to 8 and go. Just me though. My 315's rub if I don't have the bump stops in, but I'm on BMR drop springs. If I were at stick height, there's no clearence issue. Then again I don't know which offset I have either.

your car is squating way too much, you want anti-squat, not squat on launching. My guess is that your LCAs are on a downward angle from back to front, where it should be about a 2 degree upward angle from back to front. A set of LCA relocation brackets could help your problem. Look at 96LT1M6's car as it is launching, the rear tires are sitting square in the wheel well, not tucked up in it. That is how it should look.

Just look for a slightly upward slope. Put a level on it if you have to, but you want it to be slightly upward. The brackets are cheap.

not just for lowered cars, also for cars that have problems launching and have too much squat, like yours.

The 8 setting is stiffer both on compression and rebound. Get some lca relocation brackets on, set the shocks to 8 in the back and 0 on the front. That will allow the car to plant the rear tires and let the front rise to aide in that. If you have and adj tq arm, you can play with pinion angle as well. As pointed out, the body is squating too much in the rear. On a well set up car it will look as though the rear suspension doesn't move much if all. You can also ditch the front sway bar to aide in letting the front move a bit more. Hope this helps some.

what rear springs do you have?
turn those shocks up a bit as stated.

the hose mod is where you remove the thick isolator from the top of the coil spring and replace it with 5/8'' heater hose... it generally gives 3/4'' drop in the rear.

when a car squats it becomes a huge waste of energy.. As MADMAN says only females SQUAT race cars launch.....

The 1 bag aspect is common, it's for the right rear since that's the direction the car TQs to.
I would put the wheel and tire combo on the car just to see.... If it is just one side mainly the drivers side you most likely need an adjustable panhard rod.

The rear end will see a bit more strain as you are actually putting the power through it as opposed to wasting the energy by moving the body around. It will see a bit more abuse, but I wouldn't worry too much about it.
