Corvette Performance - my 98 C5 forgot 2nd gear?!

when I first got my C5, it went from 1st to 3rd to 4th. For trouble shooting reasons, I cleared the dtc's and used HP Tuner to ensure factory settings. Now it only 'thinks' it has 1st & 2nd... keep in mind that the ONLY dtc ive found is the ol' Secondary Air Pump check valve thingy. Can somebody help me make sense of all this?

So its an auto not shifting right? Shift solenoids maybe?

it is automatic. I was gonna TRY to troubleshoot myself: When I first bought it, it skipped passed 2nd gear. So I flashed with HPTuners to establish a known baseline with a factory tune. NOW it shifts into 2nd, but wont shift out into 3rd.

I had a nightmare scenario on my previous car with the trans doing this crap. I did a vac controlled swap to PCM controlled swap. Just never shifted right, even with fresh rebuild. A swap, or solenoid replacement should fix the problem.

Fyi, turning never fixed my problem...as I don't think it was tuner related. Went with 6spd on new car to fix that issue for good.
