After blowing my old motor, on a tight budget looking for something with decent power yet I came accross TMS. Kyle the owner is the best customer service I have ever dealt with questions and help getting me what I want at a good price. After figuring out a 13:1 forged 441 LS7 wasn't in my $3-4K price range I chose to go with his engine rated 425hp aluminum 5.7 replacement longblock package from his website that includes a 12month warranty(after just blowing a motor that was a big selling point for me). Specs are as follows:

His package:
-L33 5.3 aluminum LS1 bored to 5.7 LS1 specs with new 3.89" pistons and moly rings. Reman crank and rods with new clevite bearings and durabond cam bearings.
-Unported 5.3 truck heads with LS1 size valves, PRC dual spring kit, and chromoly pushrods.
-232/236 .625"/.625" 112+4 cam
-LS7 lifters, LS2 timing set, and Melling oil pump
My stuff:
-TSP 1 3/4" headers/ypipe/Rumbler catback
-TPIS 90/90 intake with SLP lid
-SLP 25% underdrive pulley
-SPEC 3+ clutch with steel flywheel

It did 404/385 through my 6-speed and 35spline 9" rear :) Nice to get a product that is under rather than over rated.

I agree and have plans for some Trickflow's or PRC 215/227's SOMEDAY, right now even this motors price was pushing the old ladies patience with me so there was no room for ported heads in the price if I didn't want to sleep in the garage :P
