Damn, from what I've understood turbo W-bodies are pretty quick, that car must be a turd.

Not saying the G8 doesn't roll out though, what do you usually trap?

Honestly dont know where my car is at...hes a member of the gp forums, he claims the setup should easily go mid 11s at 120 and that he ran 12.1 and traps around 114 at our local road but I dont think thats too acurate.

Spot on what he trapped before the rebuild, I think its still there personally but he says otherwise...hopefully he gets it to the track instead of stopwatching it.

I've actually been saying that car just isn't making the kind of power he thinks it is.

290-310whp... You need to know what you're doing to make big power. Too many people think they can just bolt a turbo kit on and be super car fast.

Yeah I believe the car made 305 whp on one of those 'low reading' mustang dynos...this is according to him, me I could care less. The only reason we ran is that hes been building this car for years now and has been telling me how hes gonna come for my evo but he wanted to beat my g8 first, claimed the car ran 12.1 and should trap 114 as per his tuner and that he has the potential to run mid to low 11s if he turns the boost up.

Im really against making comparisons, just going by what was said to/about me and my car and Ive been basically getting called out since back in November in my daily driver. His build thread is somewhere on the gp forums not sure which one, he said he went 12.7's before the new turbo, fmic, exhaust and less boost. Dont know where it sits now or where it will go if he ever decides to turn it up, just putting a friendly rivalry to rest.
