Help!

I'm trying to put a Mast LS3 windage tray on my LS3 Stroker. The site says instructions included, but they did not put any in the box.

The pan will not sit on the block with the Mast windage tray. It fits fine with the stock windage tray, but the pickup was a little too close to the bottom of the pan (due to the washers/spacers).

I'm assuming that the center ribs in the oil pan need to be removed to clear the tray, but before I start cutting things I figured I ask here.

Thanks,
RGKSR

Mine fit fine. Maybe these pics will help, maybe not. I'm not entirely sure what your issue is though? Mine fit fine with a stock oil pan (5g camaro pan)

This is a mast tray on an LS3 lower, 4.125" stroke.

I guess the C5 oil pan is different. I've got a 00 FRC and the motor is an ERL 454.. I'll try and call Mast in the morning.

Thaks for the photo's

ON the vette pans you typically have to machine down the fins/ribs in the bottom of the pan on stroker applications. this is with any windage tray when you space them down on these pans not just the Mast ones.

can you guys go into more detail on this? car is currently in the shop right now and the 427 stroker isnt clearing the oil pan. Its a 2000 C5 with the batwing pan.
