Single port or two port for wastegate/boost controller?
Going to be installing an eBoost Street controller soon and was curious what the difference in between a single and a two port hookup. The manual says that the two port is for high back pressure. Seems like the single port is most common (top of the wastegate vents to atmosphere).
Here is a link to the manual with diagrams: http://www.turbosmartusa.com/wp-cont...psi_MAY_12.pdf
My setup will be a FMIC on3 T76 5.3L in my '01 Silverado. Thanks!

Unless you have problems with a basic setup, just use that. Or unless you have specific needs to use something else.
All of them are viable, although as most LS setups will be generally using quite low boost there isnt any need to mess about.
The only one I'd definitely avoid is where they use a 3 port solenoid plumbed in to try and work as a 4 port solenoid. If you need to blow the w/g shut, jus use a 4 port and do it right.

Just use "Single port, single solenoid, single turbo" or "Two port, single solenoid, single turbo" method as per those instructions.
The fact you arent having any boost control problems, or are needing to run high levels of boost means you have no "specific needs".
