Default Truck (Exhaust) Manifold Size

Searched, and can't seem to find any info.

Can someone please tell me the I.D. of the primary side of truck manifolds? Maybe the C6 manifolds as well?

Everyone uses 2.5" vbands on them at the collector, I am at work but can get you a measurement on the primary shortly when I get home.

That's fantastic, just waiting on the truck sizing.

Really now. So the people that are using a truck manifold on driver side and a C6 manifold on the passenger side (to keep ac) are using two different sized manifolds.

Good to know. Thanks.

This is exactly what I thought - that the C6 manifolds were bigger. I'm guessing either it doesn't bother people or they just never thought to check?

Dont know if this has been covered at all... noob. And kinda sorta not on the OP's topic.

Anyone else notice the drivers side truck manifold (at the collector) is roughly 2.25" and the pass is 2.6"???

Wow. Crazy. Or did someone swap a tiny one on my motor at some time?

2004 LQ4 6.0 btw.

drivers:

pass:

It was def my intention to use them as turbo manis. There's lots of meat on them, so I'm sure the drivers side could be opened up, but man, that's a good couple of hours with a die grinder. Ewww.

I noticed it too, they are all that way. They each prob flow close to the same though, they couldnt be too-mismatched from the factory on the trucks...

I guess I'm kind of making sure I didnt have some odd-ball manifold or something...

Still seems really quite odd.
