Looking at picking up a pair of Rear wheels that are 17x10, awaiting the back spacing size at the moment.
Can a 17x10 fit on a stock GTO without modification? If so, what's the largest back spacing that can work?

Thanks!

Chad

I run 19" x 9.5" machined to ET43, these just clear with heavily rolled guards.

So I would assume if you went in 1/2" wider you would want a minimum offset of 55mm.

Update: I'm being told it has 7.75in back spacing. Any one know if these should work?

That should be about right as that's ~57mm offset. Be prepared to modify, grind control arms, modify or change the shock mount and pound inner fenders to get them in tho and please, please don't solve issues by jacking up the back end. You may have to bring the wheel back out tho and you can use up to 1/4" wheel spacers and still have the hub mount on the wheel. 10" is do-able but very tight and every one of these cars is different so what works on one may not on another when you're pushing the limit. 9½" is the most I'd be comfortable with and say it would work easily.

Cool thanks man! I appreciate all the information.
