dyno was on a Mustang 1100SE dynamometer. I stated i was looking for 550rwhp and 500rwtq. i was informed that those number on the mustang would be around 470-480rwhp. after a few days of dyno tuning and work numbers were 462rwhp and 442rwtq. numbers were very close to what i was going for. the car has crazy torque and insane acceleration. meth kicks in at around 6 grand. car idles great and is very smooth. the stroker is even smoother than my stock ls1. very happy with the way the car drives and responds.

number are over 500 its just the mustang dyno it was on. i know it has way more power then my old head and cam set up on my ls1. numbers on my old motor was 435/405 on the dyno jet. 460 on the mustang is about 540 on the dyno jet. motor is a tsp 408 with there 250cc ls3 heads and 239/247 624 624 lsr cam.

Why meth? CR? I dont see 540 with those heads and that cam. Maybe 510 on a dynojet.

what set up are you going with?

Maybe 510 on a dynojet.

Agreed.

Ive done back to back testing on a Dynojet & Mustang dyno and they were within 3rwhp of each other. Mustang dyno reading vary too much. If you want Dynojet number, put it on a Dynojet.

Hmmm id think u see more power with those bigger heads but track times dont lie dyno numbers just a number...when i had my car tuned on a mustang dyno it made 520/474
-403ci, afr 225 big bore heads, 247-251 112 cam, unported 92/92, 1⅞ arh headers with y-pipe 3 cutout s60 410s.

I havent redynod my car yet but ive changed to ported 102/102, 12.1 cr on 93, sd tuned, and kooks td system.

It was just the dyno is was on. that dyno reads really low. I going to be taking it to the track and drynojet soon. prob will see 540 to the tire on the jet. i know for a fact the numbers are low because my old h/c/i motor on the jet was 435/398 and i have tons more power with the stroker. I cant make any guesses on numbers without really seeing them but i shoulds be around 540/510rw. And the motor only had about 50 miles on it when dynoed. Have you had yours out to the track yet???

I agree with others you won't see 540 on a DJ.. 510 was a good guess maybe 520 on a good day.

For reference. I made 499rwhp on a Mustang dyno on my 402. I backed that up with 535rwhp uncorrected ona dynojet. That would be around 520rwhp corrected on the dynojet.
I think you'd be lucky to see 500rwhp.

I made 540/420 RWHP/tq on a mustang dyno with my high comp, high rpm 366, by your logic I would make ~620 on a dynojet? Thats absurd. I think you will pick up some, but not anywhere near what you think.
