Corvette Performance - question about going back to stock AFTER a dyno tune

I'm selling my '05 and I'm taking off my lingtubes, off-road X and corsa and putting all the stock components back on and saving then for my next c6. The car has already been dyno tuned though for the exhaust and the cai I have installed. Overall the car is still very stock, but now the computer has been tuned for the free flowing exhaust.

Question is, will the car run ok with the stock exhaust on it now? Its not going to throw any codes is it? Maybe that's a dumb question.. but I've never went back to stock before after a dyno tune.

It will be fine, just running a little rich. The tuner that did the work should be able to just re-load the stock tune.

That's just the thing.. I bought it tuned and I'm not sure who did it. Without reloading the stock tune though it'll idle and drive fine though w/o any lights?

Yeah, it should. The tune usually shuts off the rear O2's. By adding stock exhaust it just won't read the rears so no light will come on. By adding headers with a stock tune the rear O2's read that cat isn't working and throws the code. Like I said, it will run rich but should idle fine.

You can also get a tune from someone on line (do a search) and have the tuner flash it. Only takes him 4-5 minutes.

HP Tuners may have stock ECU images / settings you can download. I checked their 2003 z06 file against my stock one and it matched.

I cant see any issues considering the tune was for mild mods. It will run a bit more rich. That should be all.

It's not going to run rich - that's what idle trim, short term fuel trim, and long term fuel trims are there for. The ECM will trim fuel +/- 25% in order to maintain 14.7 air fuel ratio. If your AFR gets beyond the +/- 25% range then yes it will throw a lean or rich DTC. More than likely it will not show a check engine light but you will not know for sure until you try. It would be very easy for anyone with HP Tuners to re-load a stock C5 calibration back to it.
