Default 199-PRC Deck Thickness

What is the deck thickness on the 199-Prc l92 heads. My car for some reason keeps trying to lift the heads if u spray over a 150 shot. I used arp head bolts but not studs. Im thinking about upgrading my l92s which one should i go with.

416 ls3, fast 102, T/S 1.7/8 headers. T/S Cam. 11:1 comp
Would like to spray 250 shot without having any head problems.

If you are looking at our aftermarket casting PRC 250cc heads, they have a 3/4" deck thickness.

You shouldn't be lifting heads at that HP level. I would switch to studs but we have sprayed 250 on bolts before with no problem. Is you timimg high?

The 199-prc is the heads i have now. was thinking about changing them up.
What is the stock l92 deck thickness? I would keep them if head studs would cure my problem but im not sure.

GM head thickness is at or just a hair shy of .500". I would be suspicious of the block's surface finish RA, gasket selection, timing/tune-up, a number of things in the combo, etc before worrying about the heads thickness at that power level though!
