I read the rules and I'm confused on tires. in the advertisement part it states a dot legal tire. in the rules it says a true 10.5 tire. can we run a 10.5 slick?

So what class would my 240 fall under since real street is a gm chassis only class? I got a single power adder and 10.5 slicks? its a true street car. I drive it everywhere. I just don't have no drag radials.

6.D.O.T. Radials or D.O.T. Slicks on front and rear of vehicle.

rumble class. if you have the time and money get a set of drag radials have them mounted on your wheels, run the true street class on sat. after the last pass take them to town and have them swap over to your slicks. if you want to go thru all that.

There will be a tire changer on site for those who need to utilize that service. $10 a tire including tire disposal.

I don't quote myself often but thought it important to mention that though the tire changer will be there he will not have access to a balancer, which makes this more inclined to the low speed events.

DOT slick tires or DOT legal radials tires required for drive tires during the road tour AND the True Street competition and class run off. Racing slicks prohibited. Maximum actual measured tire size is as follows: Actual measured tread of all racing slick-type tire is limited to 10.75-inches. For D.O.T. radial tires, maximum sidewall designation permitted is 325mm.

I'm a little confused here, what qualifies as a dot slick tire vs a dot radial? Basically I'm trying to figure out if my 295 ET Streets are legal.

I believe I have a set of those, if you can find some tires, I will check to make sure I have them and bring them with me.
