Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - Quicker Throttle Response

So, anyone have any idea's where I can start getting a quicker throttle response. There always seems to be a short delay between the petal and the response. How can I make that quicker? I have cleaned the TB and intake due to the amount of oil that was ingested bc of the PCV failure. There is also no slack in the throttle cable. What what can I upgrade now?

This may have just been mental, but I felt a big difference in throttle response after running seafoam through my brakebooster.

Potz ported throttle body gave me snappier throttle response. Nothing drastic, but it was noticeable.

Granetellie wires and NGK55's will improve response.

Like demonspeed said, ported throttle body. Definitely a noticeable difference.
