C5 Z06 2002 wheel fitment - road racing
This is a road race car, I wanted to see what wheel sizes will work. I was hoping to run 18 x 9.5" on the front with 295's and 19 x 11 or 12 on the rear with 315's It seems there are quite a few stock corvette wheels that fit these sizes and would make it a little cheaper than going with a Fiske or CCW. Let me know what other you guys are running and what is working. My other question was that I am not sure if a 9.5" wheel up front is too narrow to fit a 295 on, let me know your thoughts and feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

295 is a little wide for a 9.5" wheel. I doubt you will be able to get a 12" wide wheel to work. especially if its a camaro. either way you will need a big spacer for the rear i would assume. if your doing road race then get 17x11 C4 ZR1's all the way around. sure they dont look the coolest but proven to fit and way lighter than 18 and 19's

You need a 10.5 wheel if you want run a 295 especially if it's an 18 diameter
The smaller the wheel diameter you run
You can get a way with running smaller width like a 10
IMO I rather run a smaller width tire that is squared out on the wheel with
the max contact patch
Than a bigger tire squeezed on to a narrow wheel running a crowned tire
