Theyre called speedmaster cylinder heads? They are relatively cheap and the flow numbers arent too bad. They definitely arent trickflow heads but for the guy on a budget maybe a good option. Unless they have something really wrong with them? Any inputs great. Thanks

Just port your stock castings if you're on a budget.

All I could find was the Fleebay ad:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS1-LS2-LS6-5-3-5-7-STREET-HIGH-PERFORMANCE-COMPETITION-ALUMINUM-CYLINDER-HEADS-/300716120714
What are these based off? LS1 241 castings?
I wouldn't go near these... too many unknowns, and probably a downgrade from stock 243 heads.
Giving up your hollow sodium filled valves...
I agree, port stock casting call it a day.

Yes those are the ones. They have a set with 225cc intake runners for $700. I would get my heads ported but I live in Hawaii and there are no shops here that do it. Is there anyone who I can get a set of ported heads from with a core charge and send mine back to them that you folks know of? Also how much is it to port a stock set of heads. Thanks for all the input

Only thing I can suggest is the same as what has been discussed here:
http://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/1553453-ebay-heads.html
I wont call, but someone can inquire,
a) is this their own casting? or 241 or 243 head?
Im sending mine to A.I. (Advanced Induction) and it will be worth every penny of the 1000 bucks -proven power

It appears they are not factory heads from what I read. I wouldnt go near them personally.
On another note, ported 241s will outflow stock casting 243s. The sodium filled valves also aren't that much of a deal.

I looked at advanced inductions website and its about $800 to get my stock heads ported. I may just go this route. Plus then i can bump the comp ration a little. Anyone recommend a good combustion chamber size thats still safe to run on the street everyday?
