Chevrolet Camaro 1967-2002 - 01 Camaro V6

Here is the question is this engine supposed to have a hose clamp on the rubber boot that fits over the aluminum air flow tube? This tube is 13 inches around and only has space for 1/4 - 3/8" wide clamp.

The car came back from the shop and I can't remember if a clamp was there or not before the shop work.

No clamp required. The boot is a stretch fit over the throttle body.
