I'm not by any means a body works guy...hell it seems I can't even wax a car right LOL! So I was a little scared to attempt to install the racecraft rails. It took me probably about 3-4 evenings start to finish, by myself. The only problem I would say that I had was once I started drilling the holes and installing he dzus fasteners, the hood gaps werent where I had them to start out, but F it... Good enough.

You can't expect perfect fit with dzus fasteners holding a panel on. Nature of the beast. Looks pretty good to me

Looks good to me. Any pointers on how to line up the holes to drill in the hood with the brackets?

Thanks guys. I followed studderins thread on the how to.

looks good. if you do one side and noticed you lost the fender gap on the other side, you can pull up the cowl, or put a box under it. And that will pull the hood to the matching fender gap you need.

When I take my hood off at the track in the hot sun, its way more flexable, and wants to way wider and flatten out. You have to put it back over the fenders, it will be wider in the back. haha

Looks good to me. And I'm a picky SOB.
Great tip, studderin!
Does Racecraft make a kit for Trans Ams? Or who?
I heard the TA's have more fender curve or something like that.
