The Iroc-Z is a special vehicle I believe.... :devil:

It is a California car, there is no rust underneath. It is pretty rare, a 1973 RS LT split bumper car, even more rare than the 73 Z28 split bumper I believe. The paint was done when he got it, it is a fairly old paint job (it is lacquer, not base/clear) but it still looks great. We re-did the engine, interior, and transmission together. It is a 355 with a Weiand 142 supercharger, forged internals, TH350, 8.5 10 bolt w/4.11s.

It put down 295 RWHP on a Mustang dyno with 3 pounds of boost. We were hoping for a bit more boost out of that thing (selected a cam that would have been better with more boost). It is a fun street car, EVERYBODY looks at that car...and it literally is a chick magnet, it is unbelieveable, women just love this car.:D

chief455 ... I've been looking for an alternative to the 67/68 Camaro. The 70-73 Camaro doesn't appeal to me because of the bug-eye headlights. Suddenly, there it is...a 70 Firebird. Beautiful! You may have helped me to change my mind on the swap. Glenn

Glad you like the 70 look! I love the 70-73 'birds. They can handle and brake with new cars with some mods, add an LS1 so the weght is nice = killer mod-mobile ;)
Warning - NOT easy to find parts for and the repo stuff is so-so.

I think all camaros are special. I had a yellow 76 camaro but I hit two telephone poles with it. No, I wasn't drunk. I passed out, don't know why. Now I have a black 98 Z28 and hope to get a black 68 Z28 to keep it company in the garage. Can't find one around here.
