gm 4.10's with factory torsen block won't fit

Default gm 4.10's with factory torsen block won't fit

got some factory gm 4.10 gears and the block that goes in the center of the torsen carrier does not fit past the ring gear ......
any tips..

also does it matter which way the block goes in one i figure out how to make it fit???

You have to grind the block til it will fit. It's common practice. That's what I did years ago.

I did not grind mine but it did take some WORK to get it to go in....shaving the block would have saved considerable amount of time
