I want colder A/C
Info 2000 z28 100k on the clock
I have all the usual bolt ons including a SLP cold air kit that sits in front of the radiator .
The ac comp has been checked, filled with refrigerant etc. New belts also.
It just isnt as cold as most cars that freeze you. So is the SLP cold air causing the condenser not to cool properly?
Is there a better stronger compressor out there?
Lets here some ideas.
BTW in orange county and it has been in the 90's for the last few weeks.

It's possible your blend door actuator isn't fully extending/retracting when it's set on max cold. The blend door controls the cabin climate by allowing more hot/cold air into the vents.

But....most likely all you need to do is clean or replace the A/C condensor. After 10-14+ years, its one of the most overlooked items to do regular maintenance on......with our F-Body's.
When I did mine the first time......I went from blowing kind of cold......to literally ICE COLD where I didn't need it to be on MAX the whole time. It was too cold.........
