It was 3 hours doing 80 most of the way, rained a lot. Cleared up about 45 min before I got there. Track was a little dry , everyone was spinning , still got a couple 9 sec passes though. Think it was just over 250 miles round trip.

Definitely going back!!!

Nice. We had the mustang out friday. As soon as we set up camp the rain came on like a light switch. Would have loved to see these two cars in person.

So close to be able to call it an 8 second ride. Man I love your car! Absolutely badass!!

Make a trip to atco and you wll run 8's easy

I only ever ran 2 hundreths better at Atco than at Etown and that was NA.
Lotta people run quicker at Atco cause of the prep and the air but if you catch good air and your car is set up you can run similar times at other tracks.
BUT--1500 DA in mid October with a track so sticky that it pulls your shoes off when you walk on it is definately a good combination for a new best. :nod:

Your comparing E-town to atco. I don't think the valley and E-town are even steven.A guy I know with a 8 second rail smallblock dragster was running 8.22-8.24 at the valley and went atco around oct to your point and ran a new best of 8.14. So if you hit atco with some - DA your almost a lock for a new best. Worth the long haul if your that close to running in the 8's, just have your video gear ready.

if your gonna drive to atco might as well goto cecil... atleast your kinda running down hill there... lol

yeah i've seen cecil produce some real good ET's. me and mike v went down there last year and he put his NA LT1 car into the 9's.

Might make the trip down there again this december. this time my car will be coming

His car was doing like 10.6 while sam did a 9.8 jesus cecil sam will be 9.50's!

Ya this is my first season with this car and setup so what I'm running now is just getting the car figured out. Who knows at the end of the year what my PB will be.

I haven't had the luxury yet to live in the past , and label my self with a PB from years ago when I was in optimal weather conditions, at some track below the ocean that i only go too one month out of the year like a lot of others get too.......but next year I'll have that lol :)
