Why these outperform other lighting choices on the market today:

These lights feature:
- Optical technology from Hella – (Well known manufacturer of BMW, Mercedes and other headlight components)
- Custom designed mounting system for ease of installation and easy adjustment
- Custom thermoformed impact resistant projector covers
- Custom designed aesthetic hardware covers
- Entirely Plug-N-Play – No cutting, grinding, stripping or permanent modification

Other lighting options:
1) OEM Headlights – Horrendous light output compared to 99% of other new cars produced today.

2) Sealed beam headlight upgrade (Silverstar) – Marginally better than OEM with slightly better color however light output is still very poor.

3) Sealed Beam Conversion – Allows for more lamp options and typically used with coated halogen bulbs producing better but not ground breaking results. Light output sometimes can be worse depending upon the lamp chosen and the coating on the aftermarket lamp.

4) E-Code Conversion Housings – A costly conversion for “better” conversion housings but still lacking the focus and performance of a projector.

5) Sealed Beam Conversion w/ HID Kit – This has been the popular upgrade with the 98+ Firebirds. While it offers color and, perceivably, the light output they want; the light patterns are very uncontrolled. Many have commented on the beam patterns with these kinds of setups and the light output can be sometimes dangerous for other drivers. Many questions regarding blinding other drivers requires the recommendation to "lower them down" reducing the effectiveness of the headlight system to begin with.

6) Fixed Headlight Conversion – Certainly the most expensive option ($1K+) with questionable performance, fitment and love it or hate it styling. The low beam uses a DOT approved non-projector housing which will not have the performance of a quality projector.

Low Beam Cutoff – Low on the driver side to not blind oncoming drivers, high on the right to give you farther distance.

Light Output – Width and light intensity are like night and day

Light output at 30’ with High/Low Beams On – Light spread is more pronounced the farther away you are but nothing will hide from these while they are on.

Installation:
Installation instructions will be emailed for each kit upon shipment and if you can install a new headlamp in your car, this will not be much harder. Simple hand tools are the only requirement and will be outlined in the instruction manual so you have just what you need. Tolerances are very tight on these vehicles in the headlight area however these were designed to fit appropriately.

Hardware
Your kit is supplied with all stainless hardware so it will work for years to come.

Adjustment:
To adjust the lights, it requires little extra work. The factory top and side adjustments are retained however we include a third adjustment position with stainless steel hardware.

Do you start making them as soon as you get the order or after the GP is over? Just curious, either way "I WANT THE BLS KIT" lol. Thanks.

These are cool and I could really use some better lights for night driving, so I am interested... but by the pictures they seem super bright and over-powering. Does anyone have these and can they comment on the impact to oncoming traffic?

BLSolutions

Others will hopefully chime in but just as a comment, if these are adjusted properly you will not affect oncoming traffic. The projector uses a cutoff like most all other units (oem and aftermarket) to avoid blinding on coming traffic. Above the cutoff line, it will be dark so again, this is intended to avoid harming other drivers.

I never get flashed by oncoming traffic with my BLS kit (55w 6000K low beams). If you take the time to align the lights properly, you will not have any issues. The light output level is extremely low if the viewers eyes are above the cutoff line. The method I used to start the alignment process on my car is as follows (it may not be the best way of doing it, but it worked for me)...

You will need a tape measure, duct tape or something to temporarily mark a wall, and the tools to align the stock headlight and possibly the BLS bracket):
Park behind warehouse/retail store with flat wall and flat level ground.
Pull up facing the wall from a distance, and get both headlights approximately 25 feet away from the wall (this is where the tape measure comes in, measure from the wall to the lens - you may need a helper).
Measure the distance from the ground to the center of the headlight lens
Go over to the wall in front of the car, measure the same height and make a few marks across the wall to signify that height for reference.
Align the headlight horizontal cutoff to that height.
Stand behind cars third brake light (centered) and take note of where the left-right positioning should be. I think you want the "blend" zone between the two 45* angles to be about in the center (horizontally).
Once you have both horizontal and vertical lined up alright with that method, take the car for a test drive and adjust as necessary. It took me a couple hours to get the lights aligned so that they both line up AND don't blind oncoming, since the cutoff is so sharp it is a lot more noticeable than with halogens and more care must be taken when aligning.

If somebody has a better method, feel free to post up... These lights have definitely been worth the time and money spent.

How many takers do you have thus far? Do you still honor the price if you don't get at least 10 ppl?

Also, do you offer a kit where I could buy low beams now, and if I wanted later add the high beams in too? I love the discount of the full package right now, but that is one hefty price.

We have four orders pending payment right now and even if we don't hit 10, we will still honor the GP price. The standard kit would be your option if you didn't want to buy the premium kit at this time. The high beam portion of the kit can be purchased separately at a later date. There are no overlapping parts between the low and high beam units so you won't be buying anything twice.

How much for just the high beam kit? I already have the low beam kit and absolutely love them. As you said before, the look alone is worth the extra money for the high beam kit. I should have listened to you!

The price for just the high beam is simply the difference in the standard and premium kit costs. I should update the website so customers know they can buy just the high beam kit if they already have the low. Feel free to PM for the payment info. Thank you!

what was decided on the bi-xenon kit? I planned on holding out for it but if it isn't going to happen then I will take this

BLSolutions

The bi-xenon setup is on the shelf for the moment. I wasn't pleased with the sealing solution for the entire projector and it wouldn't look clean enough for retail sale. We will revisit it with a new design but not anytime soon.

I have watched these GP's come and go ever since they first came out and finally decided to go for it. The pictures and videos alone are enough evidence to show that it is a great product.

I can't wait to replace my current setup
