Question AI Dart/RHS 223cc Heads?

I know there was a thread about this awhile back but im wondering if anyone has tried these heads yet. On par performance of their 226cc 243s without having to buy the heads seems like a good deal. Hard to pull the trigger without some independent testing though..

Anyone?

That looks like a LOT of head for not a lot of $$... I'd be interested to hear from someone who has used them as well. Being so new, we might not get that. Therefore, I vote you buy em and let me know how they go.

I ran one of the first as cast Dart 205 head sets when they first came out. Later Dart struggled with quality control from what I read. I never had any issues with the heads and they performed well compared to my 241's. I find it interesting that they are now RHS instead of Dart, wondering if Dart was bought out or just the LS heads.

With AI doing the work, I would expect a high quality head and would not be afraid of buying a set. Their work seems to always perform.

RHS is not a real manufacturer so I kind of doubt Dart was bought out.

IMO the name thing is just marketing games.

Far as the AI ported version, if Phil came up with this and offered it it is good, he has a lot more integrity and ability than most shops.

AI is an awesome company with some of the best port programs for LS and LT heads out there.

So I did some more reading and seems I should have said "RHS is not THE manufacturer"

As indicated by the first line in AI's description
"head based on Dart's aftermarket castings (now sold under the RHS name)"
I hadn't read much on RHS for too many years and was wrong about their current manufacturing ability.

I found an article about the RHS foundry dated 09 and stuff about these Dart heads dated 08 so in this case it certainly would seem likely Dart manufactures and RHS puts their name on it. Which is fine, pretty much everything we buy has a LOT more brands than manufacturers.
