LS2 heads cam questions/opinion I have a stock cube LS2 in my Vega. I just sold my magnacharger since that will not help my future potential plans. I currently have an old set of Patriot perimiter bolt heads that were CNC'ed. and a Speed Inc SI5 cam 231/237 595/598. I was debating on getting a Fast 102 for Cathedral port heads then maybe later swap out the heads for something better(ported 243's that i unfortunately gave away with the sale of my GTO), or to just swap my heads and intake for a L92/l76 setup.
From the small amount of information i have read, the FAST 102 is a toss up weather it is better than the L76 intake.
I have seen a good amount of power made with the L92/L76 setup on an LS2, and also heard that it is a better setup for strokers? Another thing is i dont know about my PTV clearance if it is something i should worry about at all with the cam i have.
I was hoping to get 470-490whp but i doubt i will reach that with the Fast 102 on my current setup. Any thoughts?
