Default Which pump & Inj. for 1000hp+ street

Guys, I've been researching for weeks and talking to different companies and i'm still here with questions. I'm building a 402ci with a F1A that i'm told will be making 750rwhp or better. This is going to be a street car most of the time with occasional trips to the track to play. I'm getting a Ricks tank and thought about going with the Eliminator pump, but i read here that they don't last long on the street even with the PWM. So, i've been looking at Magnafuel. What pump would you recommend?

Secondly, i was told that the 80lb siemens would be good inj. for it. I've read here where a supporter used a formula for their inj. to size them to your combo and the 80's look tapped out for me. I'm running the E38 ecm. What injectors would you use?

This car will see frequent 35-75 mile trips one way.

I would appreciate any help or leads to someone who can help. I'm mixed on this, along with not very experienced in this area.

Thanks
Allen

If you wanted to oversize your fuel system a tad the Magnafuel 4303 is a beast that will live on the street. They offer two other smaller "street" pump options in the same family of pumps. Magnafuel 9950? regulator is nice too. Id go FIC1000's on the injectors.

Thanks for the info. I've seen alot about the FIC and ID injectors here, but i don't have any experience with either. Are the FIC's good for the street(idle and tuneability)?

I personally do not think you will see a difference between the ID 2000's and FIC 2000's other than price, but I have not done the back to back testing, but either way people seem to go they always come out happy. Call Jon or Cole at FIC and they will take care of you. You can also call lonnies about a twin intank system. I am going with dual 340lph pumps intank and also running a built motor and f1-a.

Thanks. This is in a 71 Nova. Do they or can they make an intank for it in a Ricks tank you think? What injectors do you run?

I have done some in-tank pump kits for various custom tanks.
If you have any specific dimensions, I can determine if a dual intank kit is possible.

I also offer complete line kits & injectors if interested in a turn-key solution.

Feel free to call if you want to discuss in more detail.

I used a set of FIC2000's in an 06 GTO and they idle and perform very well.

Talked with vendors today and think i'm going with a Magnafuel 4303(750 Protuner) pump kit and ID1000s now. What do you guys think? After speaking with many today, this sounded like a great setup.

Thanks to those who gave input.

does your setup involve boost? are you going to be running a fuel pressure regulator? did you check out FIC injectors?

Yes, im running an F1A on a LS2. YES, THE regulator is theirs also. I checked with FIC "FUEL INJ.CONNECTION and FUEL INJECTION CLINIC". Do you know something that may be of help or interest?

Thanks for the input or questions

if was my car i would run a external walbro 255 full time and kick on a external bosch 340 with boost or tps.

that will give you OEM dependability and keep the noise down along with more flow than you can shake a stick at.

where are you located? We may be able to hook you up with vendors such as Lonnies, NastyN8, Racetronix, Heintz, FIC that can be of awesome assistance.

FIC offers injectors, the others offer injectors and fuel needs from complete external systems to internal systems. They (NastyN8 & Heintz & Lonnies) can all give you a quote for all wiring, braided fuel line & AN fittings and etc... all you would need.

check the fuel and injector sticky under this main section (yellow at top of forum) and you will see a lot of information for fuel pump size and max flow with a set of injectors. for instance:
stock 190 Lph pump, max 8 x 38# injectors
255 pump , max 8 x 50# injectors
350 pump, max 8 x 70# injectors

combination thereof, I have an internal 255 pump and an external 044 pump & setup from heintz (local to me & awesome guys) and I'm making close to 800HP

I've read the pump sticky along with a ton of other stuff here and there. You know how it is trying to make that decision on something you don't know much about. I really appreciate everyones input and help. Kentucky
