Default I have 2k to spend!

Well, i came into some money. Quite a long story so i won't go into it. Anyway, i will have $2,000 to spend here in a couple weeks. As of now , my car has SLP Dual/Dual Catback Exhaust, and an SLP Lid. I just want some ideas of what i should get when i start ordering. My goal is to dip into the low 12's. Who knows after that.

PS. I don't want to spend a shitload on headers, i'm sure they will be in what i buy, but i will be probably looking at Hookers or Jet Hots.

Somewhat of an idea i want is Jet Hot or Hooker LT's with ORY, 3"-$800, cutout in the I-pipe $60 all together with installment, LCA's around $150, rear set of Nittos after having them mounted around $400. Should leave me with around $600 to play with.

Do the LCA's yourself. They are easy. Keep that 600 for a cam install. That will make your header investment come alive.

how about a set of BMR subframe connectors and strut tower brace? Some Bilstein shocks/struts? these will greatly improve ride quality for sure A set of white or aluminum gauges would look really nice on a pewter f-body (www.nrauto.com )

What do you mean do the LCA myself? Make them? What good is the 600 dollars for a cam install going to do me , if i don't buy a cam.

I could really care less about ride quatlity. I want to go fast in the 1/4 mile, but be somewhat streetable. Like low 12's. Don't want to spray either.

Don't rule out Pacesetters as faar as headers, their new version fits better & features a all new Y Pipe. We also have a few sets of the flowtech headers, but I don't like the quality so I won't be selling much of them...

The thing I don't like about the nittos is how spongy they feel cornering. I have them and I think I would rather have some good 315 street tires. Plus they don't last that long and with an M6 you have to think about your rear end a bit since its kinda weak.

You can get some Stage II ported MTI heads from motorsport technologies (sponsor on the right) for less than $2k. That'll give you quite a bit of performance. But in all honesty, I'd buy a nice set of wheels/tires. They'll set your car off. Do you really need a low 12s daily driver?

This isn't going to be my daily driver, buying a work car this fall. Then this car will be a garage queen , or track king.
