I figured i have enough parts to start alittle build thread with two cars with totally different goals i have so here we are.
First car is a 98 Camaro that over the years has had 4 different motor set-ups and has been my baby since high school. Last motor was a ls3 with a Tsp cam and milled heads the car ran really good running 104 mph traps on motor and 113mph on a 150hit. I drove it to the track and home. A year ago it broke a rod and i have been figuring out my next build and buying parts off ls1tech to get it where i wanted.
My goals with this car will be to run low 9's and drive it home.
Second car is actually a family car that me,pops and my sister will be enjoying. 67 Camaro that has a 355 with a 4 speed. We where happy with the car until one weekend i went to a car show that was 60 miles away and it got really annoying with the 4 speed revving high and running 65 down the interstate and to put the icing on the cake i got out ran by a 91 gt with a cam on the way home.

90% of the parts on these cars have been bought here on ls1tech.
As i started looking for another motor for my 98 Car as the Ls3 block was bad when the rod came apart i ran acrossed a add for a 408 on here, a deal was made with this member and i went and picked this motor up. As i was refreshing this motor it was decided this would not be the 98 cars motor i would put it in the 67 as i wanted to go faster with the 98 car. Well at that time i had seen another members car had got burned with the exact setup i was looking for the 98 Car.

How much weight are you going to drop out of the 67? Whats your idea of a street car? Lastly how much power are you looking at making?

Well the Trickflow headed motor made 686 hp on the engine dyno. And the Ls3 headed motor made 598 hp. Street car means I can jump in the car drive to a car show or to the track and drive home. And once a year I go to the Turkey Rod in Daytona and cruise the streets all weekend long without it breaking down.

I will evently spray 300 on the Trickflow motor and 200 on the Ls3 motor.

Possible with both motors, cut some weight to really make it quick

I really have no goals with the 67 except to make it a nice cruiser. But I've been mid 6's in the 1/8 at 113mph in the black car so with 250 extra hp it should get down.
