Default 402 high compression vs 383... which one to build?

Hi everyone, looking to build a new engine for my 02 z28 within the next year or so...... i was wondering... should i keep the block/cam/heads i have now and just go 383 stroker with somewhere in the neighborhood of 12:1 compression?... or should i go with a 402, similar compression, and a set of heads and a cam matched by Advanced Inductions....

The cam i have now i was told is best for something in the 370-383ci range, and the heads that are matched to the cam flowed 301cfm... cam specs are: 232/236. .579 both ways, 112lsa.

Parts that i have acquired over the years:

LQ4 block
#317 heads
ported 241's
ported/polished #853's with a matched cam
402 pistons
'98 ls1 block
'02 ls6 block
misc accessories, supporting mods, etc

so in your opinions, what would be best?... anyone know of any horror stories from scoggin dickey or advanced induction?
