General Maintenance & Repairs - Starter???

Got in my 00 SS after work today, turned the key and all of the electrics came on but not a sound out of the starter. Tried it a second time and nothing.....then it fired up on he third try. Do i need a new starter??

I'm no expert, but did your starter sound loud on previous starts? A loud starter is a common tell tale sign of it about to go out.
