LS2, stock heads, strong cam (Comp, Texas Speed maybe), tuned, no other mods. Are 1 7/8" primaries going to kill torque? I could see on a 400+ cu in motor, but is this too much for 364 cu in? Looking at Dynatech for great fitment and price. Like the stepped 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" but it's a huge jump in $$$. Input?
I'm thinking 475 flywheel HP is very doable. I'd like more but don't want to go crazy and risk PTV interference, plus drive ability is very important. 1st Gen F Body w/ T56 and 3.55 gears.

answer no 1 7/8 beats 1 3/4 from a stock motor to a 400cu they are better headers Tsp sells them for 500$ for a pair

1 7/8's would be my choice.

I am running 1 7/8's on my 347 and have had no issues. That is my suggestion, go with the 1 7/8's.

I went in between. I got edelbrock 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8. I like them. They have 3.5 inch collectors and are stainless. However, a full 1 7/8 header will not hurt you at all.

I'm using 1 7/8" into 3" collectors on our LS3.
No loss of torque at all.

1 7/8"x3" is what I would run and is what I run on my 346.

Download pipemax software and see what it says for a reference.
