The #10 white wire on the PCM under the passenger side of the dash should take care of what your looking to do.

You can also get a tach signal from the main coil pack plug which seems like what people tend to use for nitrous setups (i guess), but i also prefer the white #10 from the pcm.

Although i'm curious if you can tap into the tach signal from under the dash?

Clarification... the wire is the white wire in position #10 of the red connector in the PCM which is mounted to the firewall under the hood on the passenger side.
