LT1 miss at high speed 120 ish help!!!
So I took my Sig car up to the other side of the speedometer tonight after work. Just had the t56 rebuilt and once i shifted to 5th and hit about 120-130 ish the car kinda popped or missed and gave a little bit. And I backed off. Has happened to me prior to trans rebuild. Always thought it was the tranny.. don't really know what forum to post to but if someone could help that'd be cool. And of coursebi swung by the local salt flats and didn't break any laws

OP, I would look at the wires first.

Not true....t56 cars are speed unlimited stock ....should be able to hit 155-160 STOCK (mine did ). The only LT1 f-body with a speed limiter is the least desirable 2.73 auto models...limited to 115mph. Any f-body with a 3.23+ gear is only limited by aero

OP, check your ignition system. Something may not be up to par.

I don't understand how people still debate this since these cars have been out for 20 years. T56 cars definitely do have speed limiters, and the speedo in the dash is nowhere near accurate once you get up in the higher speeds. LT1 cars were limited at 155, and ls1 cars at 162 IIRC.
