I believe any 6.5 two way or better should fit, but depends on how cheap you want to go. I know easily less than $50 for one can be had through local listings, just shop around. As for proper ohm rating and such, look to previous threads here, and they'll hell. I know white bird commenter ohm rating on factory speakers on one of the recent previous threads.

i need 2 ohm speakers , if i was to use 4 ohm speakers they will be lower volume and can create a humming sound from the factory amp .... just seeing if maybe somebody upgrade there factory speakers, if they are willing to sell the stock set .

Are any stock speakers even intact? Both my 98 and my current 99 had rotted cones. Straight to the trash they went.

i need 2 ohm speakers , if i was to use 4 ohm speakers they will be lower volume and can create a humming sound from the factory amp No, they won't (assuming you change both sides). Speaker impedance has nothing to do with sound quality and will not cause noise except in the case of a mismatch. Yes, replacing 2-ohm speakers with 4-ohm speakers will cut the current and power in half but that causes only a 3dB drop in volume - about one click of your volume knob, not enough to worry about.
The bigger issue is that you have component speakers in the doors (in a Monsoon system) and replacing with coaxial will force you to use only one of the two original channels, cutting your power in half again. Besides, component speakers will always sound better than equivalent coaxials.
From personal experience, I can highly recommend the 6.5" CDT components that Kee Audio sells. They have coaxially mounted component tweeters so they match the configuration of the factory speaker. They are 4-ohm but more sensitive than the stock speakers so there really is no loss of volume and they are much cleaner sounding and more durable.

I think I still have one of my stock Monsoon speakers out of my 2000 SS. I replaced the fronts with the Kee Audio ones as one of my stockers was blown. I will look for it tonight if you are interested.

I have the original front door set in perfect condition from my 2001 SS, they were replaced when I upgraded the entire system at around 15k miles. Please PM me with a reasonable offer if interested...
