Starter question My starter quit on my 98 TA and I found a starter from a 5.3...I've heard it will work but wasn't sure. I tried to search on here but didn't have any luck.

I usually find out such things by checking parts store websites. Compare part numbers. Sometimes it's something small that makes them incompatible. GM designed the LS's with maximum interchangeability, so I'd be surprised to find out if it couldn't work.
