Default Few problems with fuel system, where to look?

I got a 08 2500HD with 6.0, all stock 120k miles. Always started right right up, now in the morning it cranks for 5 to 6 seconds till it starts, when its warm it starts in 2 to 3 second with of cracking. It runs great, no misfire, doesnt cut out. Now it also smells like fuel when I get out of the truck. and I am now smelling fuel while driving the truck (not bad smell but its they're), no external leaks that I can see. Could this be a leaky injector

I checked it out more today and am still stumped. It has 60 psi at idle. I pulled fuel rail and no leaking injectors, pulled line off what I think is the fuel pressure regulator on rail and no fuel or fuel smell. One thing is it doesn't hold fuel pressure , it leaks down pretty quick, is that normal?. Don't know where to go next

I've seen the internal check valve in the pumps go bad. Won't effect the way it runs but when you turn the key off it will bleed back into the tank. Doesn't explain the fuel smell but its something i've seen.
