Street Racing & Kill Stories - Pullied Cobra VS LS1 GTO and 350Z vs LT1 Formula

Nightime Go pro vid, Camera car is me. Car to my left is the pullied cobra. He got a retune. If you watch the second race is the only time you get to see his corner light in between my shifts. Having trouble with 3rd for some reason, and he gains back on that shift.

The LT1 Formula has Lt`s, catless y pipe and magnaflow exhuast, no tune. M6 car

350Z has full exhuast and 1 or 2 boltons i think. I was pretty sure the Cobra was going to wipe out the Z on one run.

What year 350Z?

I believe its an 04-05? Cant remember lol

how about telling us where the gto races the cobra, I was skipping ahead (editing FTL) and didn't see it.

Was the 350Z guy upset that he got walked so bad by a old school LT1? :D

350z should be NP for a LT1 imo. at least when I raced them I smoked every one... 370zs beat me though :P

LT1 drug that 350z pretty bad. He couldnt of been happy getting beat by an old car worth 4k.

Ya that little LT1 runs pretty good. All 4 of us are good friends, that Z is a nice car. The race is closer for the 2 of them from a roll though. The LT needs a retune pretty bad, it has more in it.

Too bad the 350Z is only worth but 10k more on a good day. Really not saying much here.

Was the 350Z auto? Did he request a dig run? I was much more curious about a roll run and not a dig. It's fairly obvious who will win the dig 9/10 times. 350z's suck at hooking from a dig (coming from a lot of experience), unless you have a good tire. The 370Z is a lot better because of the suspension improvements. 3k rpm dump the clutch and that's guaranteed 1.9 60's with the 370Z.

my neighbor got the nismo 370z... he let me drive it. I loved the auto rev on the downshift and launching was really smooth with it. he got me by a car or two if I remember correctly. awesome car, wayyyy better than the 350z

Yes the Z is an auto. Very clean, low mileage car. They both wanted a dig, so thats what was done lol
