LT1 Misfire/idol help!!! 97 Formula Hows it going im new to the LT1's and i just picked up a 6speed 1997 formula with zero miles on a Golen motor. It was bored 30.over, R&R camshaft(not sure of specs), Bosch 32lb Injectors, headers were installed also. i dont beleive it has a tune but not sure. It has a new optispark,wires and fuel pump. I installed the motor and got it running. it starts up pretty quick but the c.e.l. comes on and its Misfiring cyl 3 and 5 and it wont stay running unless i hold the gass down to 1500rpm or so, otherwise it slowy stalls and dies. cant really drive it and i just am wondering could it be a vacuum leak? needs a tune maybe? any input would be great. im going to take a video of what its doing soon. thanks in advanced!
