How much total timing should I run?
66 nova
427 ci ls3, l92 cnc heads, scog n dickey ss1 cam, 1 3/4 lts
1050 cfm pro systems 4150 style carb
350 turbo
3.73 gear
10.57@128 best so far street car
Seems like it may have more in it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How much you running now? How much compression? A smaller carb may actually gain. 33* is a good base line I think.

30 degrees total. Pro systems specked the carb to my set up.

That is a pretty small cam for that engine. I would say it is running where it should be. But you can step up to 32*. Keep movin it up at the track till you lose MPH. Then step back. 408 ci engines I have helped put together were running 248 intake and 254 exhaust. They pulled to 7k but made max power at 6600. Just to give you a idea.

That is a great looking combo. Each combo is unique. I would say trial and error is the only way to know for sure.

What does the converter stall at, and what size is the tire? Plus, what does the current combo 60 ft at? Eric L
